Pinky's Shape Hunt
Join Pinky on a delightful shape hunt adventure around her house as she discovers circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, cubes, pentagons, hexagons, cylinders, stars, hearts, ovals, and diamonds. It's a fun and educational journey filled with shapes of all kinds!
Pinky loved learning about shapes. One day, her mom gave her a special assignment - go on a shape hunt around the house to find as many shapes as she could!
Pinky looked all around the kitchen first. "Hmm, what shapes can I see?" She spotted a round clock on the wall. "Circle!" she cried. Then she saw the square kitchen tiles on the floor. "Square!"
Next Pinky went to the living room. The rug had a big red rectangle on it. The tissue box was a tall rectangle too. Then Pinky gasped as she saw the triangle-shaped birthday hat from her party last week.
In the playroom, Pinky found some new shapes. She picked up her toy house - it had 5 sides. "Pentagon!" She rolled the dice - it had 6 square sides. "Cube!" There was a jack with 6 pointy sides. "Hexagon!"
Pinky marched down the hall looking for more shapes. She saw squares on the framed pictures hanging on the wall. The hallway nightlight was a circle. Her bedroom door had an arched half-circle at the top.
In her room, Pinky found a blue cylinder-shaped bucket, a star-shaped pillow, and a heart-shaped box filled with crayons.
Finally, Pinky checked the backyard. She found an oval-shaped ball and a diamond-shaped kite stuck in the tree.
Pinky ran back inside and told her mom, "I found circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, cubes, pentagons, hexagons, cylinders, stars, hearts, ovals, and diamonds! So many different shapes!" Pinky was so proud of finding all the shapes on her hunt.
